Using dice at home is a FUN way to help improve your child's math fact fluency

Multiplication facts of 3s and 4s are the first sets of facts where children cannot rely on skip counting, so here is one fun game that could focus on the 3s facts: Have your child roll one die. Whatever number they roll will be multiplied by 3️⃣.

For example, if your child rolls a 5 then you will have them multiply 3x5 and they can say the answer (15)! They can keep rolling the dice to practice more of their 3s facts.

If they need more of a challenge, use two dice in order to work through their 3s facts 3x1 through 3x12. 🤩

This is an easy activity for your child to practice while you are preparing dinner. Give it a try!
