‍

We know Friday nights = PIZZA night πŸ€€πŸ•...but try adding a little math into the mix!

‍

You can use this opportunity to also discuss some fraction sense with your kiddos!

‍

For example, ask them how many total slices of pizza there are (this is the denominator).

‍

As slices begin to be taken from the box, ask your child how many slices are left (this is the numerator).

‍

You can then ask, "what fraction of the pizza do we have now?", or "what fraction of the pizza has been eaten?"

‍

This is a quick and FUN way to bring math into your family meals. ☺️
