Fun Way to Practice Math With Your Kids
β
We know Friday nights = PIZZA night π€€π...but try adding a little math into the mix!
β
You can use this opportunity to also discuss some fraction sense with your kiddos!
β
For example, ask them how many total slices of pizza there are (this is the denominator).
β
As slices begin to be taken from the box, ask your child how many slices are left (this is the numerator).
β
You can then ask, "what fraction of the pizza do we have now?", or "what fraction of the pizza has been eaten?"
β
This is a quick and FUN way to bring math into your family meals. βΊοΈ
